About Us

There has been a Duplicate Bridge Club in Grand Cayman for nearly 50 years, started by Michael Cantin in the old Cayman Arms pub. Today we are a friendly club averaging from 5 to 8 tables, playing regularly twice a week, as well as in between in members' homes.
Our duplicate bridge is friendly but challenging, and although we are not affiliated to the ACBL, we do support the spirit of its Code of Active Ethics.

Play With UsWe have lots of members - some permanent, some transient, with a strong presence amongst the 'snowbirds' or winter visitors! We are always keen to welcome new duplicate participants.
Each session is free, donations of $5 are very welcome. Players with partners are welcome to just turn up: if you would like us to find a partner for you, please ask us in advance, and we will do our best! Lessons are available for Beginners and Improvers, just make contact!

Where We PlayWe aim to register 15 minutes before the start - to give time to set the boards up - please arrive promptly!
We are currently playing regularly, by arrangement. If you'd like to participate, please drop us a line at caymanbridgeclub@gmail.com Play Anyway! Most of us find it really helpful to practice bidding and playing hands. If you make a mistake it's very comforting to just log off and start again! If you'd like to have a go at playing on-line against robots or even real humans, we recommend Bridge Base
